Hydrolysed Collagen Peptides (Type I, Bovine), Branched Chain Amino Acids (L-Leucine, L-Valine, L-Isoleucine), Dehydrated Coconut Flower Sap, Superfoods Blend (Kale, Spinach, Broccoli, Wheatgrass, Spirulina, Blueberry, Pomegranate, Beetroot), Electrolyte Blend (Magnesium Amino Acid Complex, Sodium Cloride, Potassium Amino Acid Complex), L-Glutamine, Flavouring, Malic Acid, Taurine, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) and Stevia Extraxt.

Recover Rx is completely free from these and other artificial ingredients, and relies purely on natural colouring and flavouring and sweetening from small amounts of dehydrated coconut flower sap and natural stevia leaf extract.

How to use:

As a recovery aid, add 20 g (+/- 1 heaped scoop*) to 200-250 ml cold water (or beverage of your choice), mix well and consume as soon as possible after intense exercise or training sessions. Consume one serving after each training session or workout. Alternatively, use as recommended by your fitness or nutritional advisor.

*Note: As powder densities can vary naturally from batch to batch and even scoop to scoop, a scoop is provided merely as a guide to serving size. Those wanting 100 % accuracy in serving weight should use a digital scale, as a scoop is a volumetric measure that is never a 100 % accurate measure of powder weight.

How many servings can I take per day?

Due to the natural nature of Recover Rx’s formulation and safe ingredient make up, we believe that it is safe to consume multiple servings per day. However, we do not believe it to be necessary to consume more than a maximum of 2 servings per day, on your most intense or strenuous of training days, to derive the intended recovery benefits.

What is the best time to take Recover Rx?

Recover Rx is ideally consumed during or as soon as possible after intense exercise or training sessions, with one serving being consumed for every training session or workout undertaken.

Is Recover Rx safe for children?

Absolutely. Recover Rx is formulated from 100% natural ingredients commonly found in everyday foodstuffs. It is thus free from potentially harmful chemicals, pharmaceutical active ingredients or other artificial ingredients like artificial colouring, flavouring or sweeteners. As highly active kids may not eat a sufficiently varied and nutritious diet or consume sufficient high quality proteins and amino acids to meet their body’s recovery demands, Recover Rx can offer valuable nutritional support to physically active kids.

Is Recover Rx diabetic-friendly?

Current recommendations for sugar intake in diabetics generally advise that daily sugar intake should not exceed 10% of daily energy intake. The UK Scientific Advisory Committee on Nutrition further advises that this percentage ideally be reduced to 5%, which equates to 25g of sugars in a 2000 kCal/day diet. With Recover Rx having only 4g of carbohydrates, of which 3.5g sugar, per serving, the product is well suited for inclusion in a low carbohydrate, diabetic-friendly diet. However, diabetics should always factor the product’s carbohydrate and sugar content into their daily diet plan and continue to regularly monitor their blood glucose levels to ensure that it is maintained within the recommended range.
