These bars are 100% olive oil bars, where the traditional bath bars are 100% tallow based. The Bastille bars have 70% or more olive oil and the balance certified grass fed Tallow.

The combination of tallow and olive oil makes for a soap of choice when it comes to tallow and olive oil soap. The tallow (African) compliments the olive oil (traditionally European) beautifully and thus the name “HUGUENOT “ embraces our heritage.
HUGUENOT BASTILLE – No scent with a small amount added activated charcoal. This hypoallergenic bar is the go-to for sensitive skin. Use as a hair and body bar for babies with very sensitive skin /scalp. They are packaged 2x100g bars.
LAVENDER BASTILLE – As above, just minus the charcoal and added Lavender essential oil& botanicals. Soothing, gentle and calming.

The high content of anti-oxidants & Vitamin’s A,D,E & K, in certified Grass Fed Tallow Boerseep based bars, helps to heal damaged skin cells and reduce inflammation.

How to use:
To get the most bath-time bang for your buck, make sure not to leave your bar in a puddle of water. The Pure Primal bars will not go as soggy as a glycerin based bar, but still suggest to let it rest after your shower/bath on a dish or soap trays.
Please also remember – we need bacteria. Topically the microbiome is the first frontier protecting us against pathogens, so please do enjoy the Pure Primal soap bars, but less is more. Let the kids go without a bath ever so often. Let them be kids with a strong immune starting with the skin.
