Ingredients:

Inula helenium, Ethanol (Alcohol) & Purified Water.  Alcohol content: 70% v/v.

Directions:

Take drops 3 times daily with a little water. Adults: 10 drops. Children: To be taken in a 1/4 glass of water or juice. 2 – 6 years: 5 Drops; 6 – 12 years: 7 Drops; 12 years and older: 10 Drops.

Description:

Elecampane is a herb originating from Europe and parts of Asia, and the root is used to make medicine.

The scientific name of elecampane was thought to be named after Helen of Troy and is part of the Asteraceae family. The ancient Romans initially used elecampane as a remedy for many ailments, specifically those of the skin, brain, kidneys, stomach, and uterus. Elecampane was later popularly used in lozenge form in the 17th century.

Note: The ethanol found in the tinctures are for preservative measures.

Note on alcohol content for kids – there are very little alcohol in the few drops needed to take at a time, however if you drip it in a small container and leave it for a few minutes, most of the alcohol should evaporate.
