This richly flavoured syrup contains 100% concentrate of pure dates with no additives or preservatives and is an excellent natural sweetener.

Ingredients:
100% date syrup
Can be used as a direct replacement for maple syrup, golden syrup, barley malt extract or honey. When replacing sugar with date syrup there is more trial and error required. As a starting point try 1 cup of date syrup = 1 cup sugar although you will have to reduce the amount of liquid in the recipe slightly.
Perfect for use in cakes, bakes or tagines or drizzle over pancakes or vegetables to create a sweet glaze. Alternatively, mix in equal proportions with our Tahini to make a delicious spread.
